With the presidential campaign it looks like we are in for a long, unrelenting political season. Seems like there has been a special candidate for various particular interests … business people, women, African-Americans, “true conservatives”, evangelicals, military, libertarians, and who knows what other groups.
Thus, many people feel left in a quandary. Who does an African-American woman vote for? How about an evangelical business person?
What about the economy, health care, and international relations? Do those issues have anything to do with whom we choose???
This week George Bush welcomed the presumed republican presidential nominee to the White House for lunch. When John McCain’s arrival was delayed, the President entertained the press corps with some dance steps at the north portico.
