"I Can't Get No Satisfaction"
Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones is famous for wailing the above words. What can you do to find satisfaction, meaning and purpose in life?
Here are some options. Each one has some truth and appeal.
LEARN - Develop your mind to its fullest potential. Stay in school and study as hard as you can. Be ready to outsmart everyone else.
EARN – Get a good job that pays the most money possible. Buy the fanciest car, live in the biggest house, and get the latest “toys” on the market.
FUN – Satisfy every whim and desire that you have. If it feels good, do it! Take care of yourself.
BURN – Life is unfair. If you cannot have something, then nobody can have it. Right all the wrongs. Discipline and destroy anything or anyone that does what is not right.
RUN – Escape any responsibility for your life and your actions. Do not face up to the truth about yourself.
TURN – Look beyond yourself and things to find satisfaction, meaning and purpose. Turn to God and seek first His kingdom and His gifts of love and life.
