Last night my Demon Deacons of Wake Forest won a double overtime basketball game with Xavier. It was a special game in so many ways. It was the inaugural game of the Skip Prosser Classic. Before his untimely death two years ago, Skip was the dynamic coach at Wake Forest. He came to WF from the head basketball coach position at Xavier. There were some outstanding player performances in the game. Ishmael Smith at point guard was phenomenal. The Deacs are now 11-2 for the season. Now 15 conference games follow. Thankfully, all of the games will be on TV!
