Some weeks ago, when I heard a report that Obama wanted to mandate health insurance coverage for every person , I was shocked and thought surely someone was misquoting the President. It goes against my understanding of the freedom of choice of life in America.
But in Obama's speech before the joint session of Congress last week, he restated the proposal that would require every individual to have health insurance.When he used the analogy of required health coverage being like required auto insurance, I was dumbstruck by the faulty comparison.
